In Kazan 5 million rubles were dotated for medical students training
Fifteen medical students of the Kazan Medical University will receive for their study the budget subsidies from Kazan. According to Tatar-Inform, the decision to allocate for this purpose 4.9 million rubles was taken by Kazan City Duma deputies on January, 24.
Half of the cost for studying will be paid from the local budget, and the rest of the cost students have to pay themselves. City will provide ten students of medical faculty and five of Pediatrics with such education.
Tuition at the University costs 109,000 rubles per year. Learn physicians for six years. According to the decision of the City Duma , freshmen, receiving fee, will be contracted, and after graduation they will have to work for three years in Kazan medical institutions.
Now, more than 400 primary care physicians are missing in Kazan, and with the help of such a measure officials hope systematically eliminate the deficit of the medical staff .
