Seminar on quality and safety of medicines in health facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan

A cancer drug could be made 50 times more effective by a chemical found in stinging nettles and ants, new research finds.   Researchers at the University of Warwick found that when the chemical, Sodium Formate, is used in combination with a metal-based cancer treatment it can greatly increase its ability to shut down cancer cells.

Today, at the training center FAS passed the republican meeting on the outcome of pharmaceutical services of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2014 and set targets for 2015. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Farida Yarkaeva, head of the Federal Service on Surveillance in Healthcare and Social Development of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Safiullin, the deputy of the State Duma Radik Ilyasov, deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the fifth convocation, the chairman of the Social Policy Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Svetlana Zakharova, head of health, sport and a healthy lifestyle of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Guzel Shakirova, General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Tattechmedpharm" Oleg Akberov and others. In her report, Deputy Minister of Health Farida Yarkaeva summed up the activities of all related organizations, agencies and services in the provision of drugs for the past year. We are pleased to note that at the end of 2014 more than 30% of all pharmaceutical professionals are working within the walls of our company.

At the Republican videoconference NP "educational center of high medical technologies" was told about the problem on the implementation of programs to provide necessary medicines for financial and costly diseases, gratuitous drug supply citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan, drug provision of medical institutions at the end of 2014.

Yesterday in the Nizhnekamsk city was held the opening ceremony of the updated children's clinic "Sun" and the modern state pharmacy network, with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, Minister of Health of the Republic of atarstan Vafin Adel, head of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District Aydar Metshin and General Director of SUE "Tattechmedpharm" Oleg Akberov.
